First time post, E85 2007 - dreaded flashing lights on the roof buttons with the top stuck down. Will check the fuses and reset the windows but in case it’s the motor, can anyone recommend a specialist near Eastbourne East Sussex? TIA

I’m booked to go and sort it in a couple of weeks time.

For reference, @Silver85407 had the roof motor replaced and moved to the boot. Now when it operates, nothing moves and a fine mist of oil comes out like smoke from the drivers side hinge area.
The garage told him it’s the hinge cylinder failed. In my experience it is highly unlikely for that to rust through enough to let oil out. Far more likely to be the bottom pipe holed. I’m taking the full range of spares though just in case.
