Hi Everyone

I have had a Z4M now for two years , before that I had a Z3.0 se in Red for 5 years so I know the car well. The Z4M is amazing and has a Super sprint full Exhaust system with the Eventuri full induction kit, sounds amazing.

I have a problem with the M.

Last year the idle was really quite rough and kept coming up with a set of codes . I took it to a garage and they had it for a few days and actually sorted it out.

I uncovered the car last week for a spin to work and all good then just pulling on the driveway back home the engine light came on again so I plugged the code reader in and 3 codes came up.
1 . P1644
2. P147
3. P110d

Now the revs are all wrong and rough idle again.

If anyone can help I would be very grateful.

Sorry I can't help with your problem, but have you tried speaking to the garage that fixed it last time to see what they did?

And feel free to post photos of your car. Oops, just noticed your entry in the October picture thread!

I have ordered a new battery so going to start with that first as had problems earlier this year with it so I will keep you posted.

Welcome to the forum. What were the code descriptors, as I doubt many people know what the codes are without them?

Could be ignition coil?
I had a rough idle on my previous z4 3.0i se
Replaced and it solved the problem

Hi guys
Thanks for the heads up.

Been the garage yesterday and this morning, all sorted , seemed to be a faulty throttle body sensor above and below. Picking it up tomorrow morning .
