Aj, were you on the Jersey Turnpike around 0700 this morning? (6 Aug) I think it was around exit 5 or so... not sure..

I was zipping south down the turnpike heading home and saw a green Z4 heading north that looked like yours. It had a tan top, and it was UP not down.

I was driving from Groton, CT. home to Va Beach. I was through NYC by 0500 (after that time you are screwed) and traveling down interstate 95 on the New Jersey Turnpike.....

580 miles in about 8.5 hours...
 
I believe Exit 5 is the exit where AJ would get off to go to the Airbase near there and he would be North bound.
 
Top up??? NO WAY! That wasn't me. Sorry. Forecast was for rain this morning so I was in the truck today. I've seen the other green one around here a couple of times though - top was always up... what a wuss! That would've been kewl if it was me tho, eh? 8)

That would've been around where you would spot me, and the right time too. I live off of exit 4 and WLH is correct, you can get to the base via exit 5 or 6. I don't go that way to work, though, I stay on all country roads.

Wish I knew you were passing by, I would've met you for breakfast. :x
 
While driving around yesterday and today with a friend I got three friendly waves and even one short chat from fellow Z4 drivers!
