Hesitation on first run through the gears

So recently it seems that when I take the car out for the first run of the day or after a day at work, when accelerating through the gears it hesitates/kangaroos slightly, mainly in second and third.

It seems to only do it once and then it's fine for the rest of the journey.

Any ideas what it might be? Coils or plugs?

As an update, I think it was the fuel as having run it through the problem has gone!

Thanks for the update! Was it Morrisons by any chance? I swear they water it down - literally.
