Does anyone know how to unscrew the top two screws on the center console in the trunk of a 2013 Z4 e89? I tried using trim tool and hiting on it sideways and a small screwdriver but they do not move.....

I used a pair of long nose pliers to grip 2 of the indents then a pair of mole grips on the pliers to give some leverage. They are tight but should unscrew with a bit of effort.

Alternatively just place a flat headed screwdriver in to one of the indents and hit the end of it with a hammer in an anti- clockwise motion.

When you remove the plastic pa el they secure don't forget to remove the wire from the boot light

I attempted that the screw did not move at all and didn't want to mangle it, thanks for the heads up on the light.

Success, I ook @Gwest44 advise and used a larger Hammer and screwdriver and some additional persuasion and got the screws out. TY!
