I’ve just imported a 2004 Z4 e85 (BT53) to Spain and wasn’t expecting to struggle so much to get it registered here.
Working on getting it homologated but need a full specs document from the manufacturer that the local dealer is not willing to help me with.
Anyone here with access to BMW data base who can provide me with a full options and specs list of my e85? I can provide photos of the car, proof of ownership, etc if required. This would help me a lot get things going so I can finally enjoy it on the Mediterranean and Alpine roads.
Short story of how it made its way to Spain for context…
This VIN was originally sold new in Texas, US, to an American lady.
An Emirati bought it from the American lady while going to college there, who then shipped it to his home, in Dubai, after finishing his studies.
I’m the third owner. Bought it from the Emirati guy when I was living in Dubai and now moved to Spain.
Not many Z4’s can say they’ve been to 3 continents…
