Help with new wheels and tyres please.

I'm looking to buy a set of BBS CH-R 19" for my zed and want to know if these will fit straight on without spacers (the guy in the shop said they will, no problem!).
They are 19" x 8.5" fronts and 19" x 9.5" rears with 235/35 and 265/30 tyres. The offsets are 32 front and 33 rear.
The tyres that they have priced me are Nankang NS2, and looking at some reviews they have mixed feedback!

I'm loving the look of the wheels but maybe I need to go for a better tyre!?

Your thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

for an E85, tires should be OK, I just think that normally you should get 225 in front. I'm not sure for the E89 though :|

I would go for a decent tyre.

My recommendation based on previous non E89 experience would be either Michelin Pilot sports (Any version pretty good depending on availability on size), Pirelli Pzero's, Conti sport contact's, Yokohama AD08's (Bit softer, but excellent tyres in wet/dry - I would suspect they could be too soft for E89's) and Bridgestone Potenza - good tyre if a little hard, but great wear.

My two cent's, I am probably going to change to the Michelin's in non ran-flat once my Bridgestones are worn out (Probably a long time yet!)

Get the best tyres you can afford. Goodyear F1 Asymmetric 2s are hard to beat, as are top notch Michelins and Pirellis.

Thanks for that guys but I was really more bothered about the rim fitment as the tyres I can shop around to get the best tyre for the best price. Just wondered if anyone had used these tyres and how they were! I've always gone for a branded tyre so didn't really like the sound of these anyway!!

I'm good thanks, just want help deciding if to pop some BBS's on the zed!!
How's the porka going? 8)

At the dealership I work at in the U.S. tire shops rip off people all the time by selling them Nankang. Tires. They're pretty terrible. I've seen some on what you guys call an mot we call state inspection, I've seen them split up the middle with an 8mm gap. Still holding air. Whenever I see them they're always really dry rotted and the dot codes are always just under two years. I would stay away as others have suggested.

The wheels are 19" BBS CH-R "copies" from wheelmania, any thoughts on these! The fact that they are copies definatetely means they will be inferior quality to the originals but they are half the price! Should I be putting copies on my lovely zed? My other thoughts were to have my 293's finished in graphite or matt black and stick with the 18"?

If they're not TUV approved then I wouldn't be fitting them on the Zed.

Tim.

Definatly not if they of non western European manufacture !
(not including the US in that statement of course)

Ok, so having a re-think now!!
As my 293's are a good strong wheel I might have them finished in graphite or matt black and also get 50% tints on the windows done to 'freshen' it up a bit.
Is there anyone that can phtoshop my pic to get an idea what the wheels would look like in a light graphite and matt black?
(don't need the tints photshopping)

Cheers.
