Help with New Top Motor

Followed the great instructions on this forum and moved my top motor to the trunk. Sure enough it was soaked; rusted and seized. I didn't even attempt to salvage the motor and ordered a new one with bracket.

When I separated the motor from the pump reservoir, a number of pieces fell out as shown in the pictures. I could determine how the plastic wheel was attached to the motor with the small metal piece Motor Side pic. I also saw that the brass pin and spring would connect the plastic wheel to the metal wheel that is inserted in the pump bracket Pump Side pic.

My question is in regards to the 3 small pins in the Pump Side pic. I believe that they insert into the 3 small holes in the side of the metal wheel. Which in turn is then inserted into the pump bracket. If someone could confirm this before I go ahead and assemble the new motor. I cannot see anywhere else for them to go.

Yes, as you suspect. They insert into that centre piece and once in place they can’t escape.
