help with choosing new alloys *now fitted*

My 108s are absolutely falling apart so I need some new alloys but I'm a complete novice at fitments, offsets and all that.

I'm thinking about these as they look all right (grey e85) and seem an ok price:

Now it says they come in 18" x 8.5" et35 or et40 front and deeper 18" x 9.5" et35 or et45 rear to create several fitments. What do I pick?

my car is a 3.0si and I want to use my existing tyres, 225 40 & 255 35, I would comment that I think my current rear wheels sit to far in towards the car, so id rather they come out a bit if that's possible? Id also like to lower it on eibachs at some point too if that makes a difference.

Sorry for being completely useless, help much appreciated!

Go for et35 front and rear. The lower the offset the further they protrude.
They will sit nicely with those offsets and with those tyres there should be no rubbing issues when you lower it

I've done a fair bit of searching on this and slightly concerned the et35 could rub or come outwards from the arch? Seem to be so many different opinions and results.

Also, with the rears being 9.5" instead of the original 8.5" does that mean increase by 1" evenly across the center line, therefore sticking the wheel out 0.5" over standard? So the rears would come out 0.5" + 15mm (et50 to et35) from the originals, is that correct? Seems quite a lot, maybe et45 is safer and could spacer if required maybe?

Going from 8j to 8.5j front and 8.5j to 9.5j rears, do you think the rears will be noticeably more stretched than the fronts to the eye with my tyres? Thanks

This is my previous Z on standard springs 8j et 32 fronts 9j et 35 rears running M spec profile tyres for comfort & also to reduce arch gap without lowering / 225 45 18 fronts 265 40 18 rears
Fit to perfection in the arches with zero rubbing

Received my wheels and eibach springs. Bmautosport were really helpful and gave a forum discount for the wheels, would recommend! Can't wait to get them all fitted now! :)

Nice wheels are they the same colour as the ones you have a link to. Or just better lighting in the PIC than the advert.

Nice choice Ross but as Mark has spotted , not the same as your original linky ? More hyper black Axe's now

The advert pic is showroom lightning which I could tell, so I asked Mark to send me pics before purchasing and they weren't like the picture. Looked better in the flesh I think.

They look great whatever Ross , most definitely not the grey ones in original link though , no matter what lighting
They are virtually the same as my hyper black /shadow chrome/platinum (whatever you want to call them ) Axe Cs lites

Hah, yeah maybe the product shot is wrong. I think the more matte paint does weird things. Same outside shot, different angle, looks different again, hehe:

Anyway, I will post images once fitted. Cheers :)

Got some BMW metal stickers as the zito badge is an odd size. Also got some bolt caps that match perfectly as well
