Help - speakers

So I am in the middle of trying to resolve my lack of speakers behind the seats (6speaker model) and I've removed all the plastic consoles, pulled out the speaker and only one wire is connected which is the blue. I've looked in the boot under the carpet and can't see another cable that will be long enough to fit. Also the previous owner has threaded a torx screw on the otherside so I can not compare.

Am I missing something obvious?



 
Trying to work out what you are trying to do ??? i can see the blue wire, that has a multi connector on it which has two wires, one + and one -
You trying to fit a sub ???
 
Do you mean wires for the compartment below the behind head speaker? if so I don't think they exist well they don't in mine anyway.

I would expect those to be coming from the amp directly on the other speaker setups as that compartment is for the subs.
 
I expect the cables that link to the speakers have been cut somewhere, so the cable that is attached to the speaker is now just a bit of cable which isn't attached to anything, try and trace the cables back to the loom

I have no sound coming from the rear speakers so wanted to find the reason for them

However shouldn't the speaker have another cable apart from the blue cable as there are two sockets (one is empty?

Followed the blue cable back into the loom until it goes back into the body work. The passengers sides cable is a different colour so I'm guessing this is what I could be missing however I can not see any spare or cut wires
 
The extra socket is for the tweeter which of course isn't used as they just wanted the mid range in the ones behind your head. So don't worry about it been the problem.

If the other speaker is working it's possibly a blown speaker test this by connecting the wire from that speaker to the other. If it's blown you need to replace them both ideally with a similar power and range set.

If one speaker had blown, would the other not still work?

I've received the logbook this week so going to contact the previous owner for some incites on the history.
 
a speaker could blow/ break, so other could still be working.

if neither is check fade setting
