Help please, this doesn't make sense

Hi, I'm still waiting to take delivery of my 35is, but theres something about the spec of the car that doesn't make sense to me. The spec sheet says it has Pro Sat Nav, and the Connectivity package, but there is no mention of Voice Control. However, buying the Pro Sat Nav and Connectivity Package sperately, is a couple of hundred quid more expensive than buying the Media Package which includes Pro Sat Nav, Connectivity Package and Voice Control. As the car belonged to the sales manager at my local dealership, I'm sure they wouldn't have paid more for a car without Voice Control, when they could have had it included in the Media Package with Sat Nav and Connectivity at a cheaper price. I paired my mobile to the car yesterday, and I was able to control the phone using the Voice Control button on the steering wheel, but I didn't check to see whether any other functions could be controlled like the Sat Nav and Stereo. Does the Connectivity Package only give you Voice Control over the phone functions, or would it be true to say that if you can Voice Control the phone, you should be able to Voice Control the Nav system and Stereo too? The salesman maintains the car does not have Voice as it isn't on the spec sheet, but it wouldn't be the first time they'd got it wrong. Hope this question makes sense. Any help much appreciated!

My car has only Connectivity Package, and I can only use voice control to dial/call up numbers from phone book. The sales manager could be right, only Media Package includes all 3 options, i.e. sat nav., connectivity package and voice control.

Thanks Ksher, but I can't understand why a dealer would pay more for 2 of the options seperately, when they could have had all 3 cheaper as a package. Maybe the car was pre-built and the only one available at the time??

The packages weren't all available from launch so it is very possible that depending on the ages of the car the various options were specified seperately.

I wouldn't worry about it though, the various feedback on here suggests that voice control isn't that useful and can't be used with the roof down anyway and as you state the bluetooth phone option includes voice control for phone dialling.
