Help please - is this normal (maybe I have OCD !) ?

Help please. I have just purchased a new Z4 2006 2.5si manual and am very pleased with it. However, whilst cleaning it I realised that there is a gap between the outside edge of each headlight and the vertical edge of the bumper / bumper cover. The gap is slightly uneven (i.e circa 10mm on the drivers side and circa 8mm on the passenger side). Is this normal ? It may be, it is just that I am used to seeing headlights fitted with hardly any gap and a rubber sleeve around them for a flush look.

I would welcome any feedback and photos to reassure me. Sorry for no photos myself, but I am new to the forum and haven't worked out the Photobucket etc method for uploading images.

Normal - Gap between wing and headlight should be 3-4 mm and even along it's length, but between the light and bumper it's quite a bit bigger.

YEP ! I too have massive OCD and I have the same issue !!! had it checked by the garage and its normal..... although my plastic under tray has been in the wars ! again the garage tell me this is normal -

there's a doc floating about somewhere that has all the panel gaps listed.
I had it somewhere, but I can't find it at present :/

Any photos ? Glad to know it is probably OCD (just off to wash my hands again, as soon as I can get away from this light switch !!)
