Help please: 108 Valuation

Hi chaps/chapettes, what would you all estimate a as new set of 108's to be worth?

The wheels are 10000% perfect fresh from a refurb, I've sourced spare wheels to remedy broken bolts and all sorts. They're just a standard very bright silver all over (no horrible polished finish to corrode). No tyres.

Sorry for such a trivial thread, I'm just trying to work out if getting CSL's and parting with these is worth it...

Perhaps as high as £500, but no more - you are competing with people who will take wheels off someone to refurb and provide a set back for anywhere from £350 to £500. I'd suggest a totally OEM-look finish would get the best price.

400 i would say... ones to be refurbushed go for 200, so aim for 400 and they will be snapped up

Question is how much is a set of perfect non refurb'd worth?

I got mine replaced under the warranty due to corrosion and then swapped them with my 19's.

I was keeping them for when i sell the car... But need the space now.

As said above an exchange refurb is £350 and that's with a chrome powder coat on the outer rim to keep the OEM look.

I can get the rim done Chrome is that will maximise my value with no problems, they're still in two pieces and the powder coater is a friend. Personally I felt the silver looked far better :?

Thanks for the advice chaps, and in answer to the above... yes I've got a few spare bolts for sale.

I think I'll go for 500 and see where I get, someone could always buy them, sell their kerbed/corroded ones for 180-250 and have fresh wheels for not a fortune.

LoL, I'm holding all of RJS's 'spare' bolts, maybe I should put them up for a ransom :evil: :roll:

RJS-Z4, Are you planning on making a clock out of the now rather ruined extra wheel ? What a great idea, rather heavy though.
