help my cd changer wont open

Hi folks

opened my cd changer this morning for the first time in months opened as normal tryed to open it again and nothing no noise at all ?

anyone else had this problem before?

Do you mean the stacker between the seats with the blue button to release ? if so mine gets stuck sometimes normally a hard tap with my fingers gets things going.

Mine's got a green button :o :wink:
 
have you checked the cables are connected tightly to the rear of the cd changer? sounds like there is no power at all. when i picked up my car the cd changer wasnt recognised by head unit and wouldnt release the cartridge when pressing green button. Someone had fitted an ipod interface of some sort and had drawn the power from the cd changer plugs, i dont have an ipod so i reconnected the cables, think there were two iirc and hey presto all worked great.
 
I had the same thing and all I did was hold the button down for about 5 to 10 seconds and it opened.

X2 sometimes a little knock on the front helps as well
