Help- how to tell if stelvio is open?

Hi everyone

We're in Strasbourg at the moment at the start of our euro tour.

We go to Bregenz today for a couple of days of R and R, but after that we're off to Modena.

I'd like to to via the Stelvio pass of course, but how can I tell if its open?

I've been watching this webcam http://webcam.popso.it/cm/pages/ServeBLOB.php/L/IT/IDPagina/42 which looks like its showing the summet but I can't tell if that gate is open or not!

As we're going such a long way that day I wasn't thinking that id just 'try it and see' as backtracking costs us time.

Any ideas /tips?

Snow. We were there last june 16TH ish
Nice at the bottom,drizzle going up and snow everywhere at the top .
We were the only two cars up there:grin:
Still enjoyed it tho.
Going back in august no snow hopefully.
