HELP !!! Error code P0102 MAF

So last week i noticed that when i press the brakes while standing still the RPM went up from 750 to 1100rpm, take my foot off and it drops back down to normal.
Reading previous post on here and various other forums people are saying Vacuum leak, i have checked all the pipes from the brake servo to the engine and can find no splits or leaks, the only part i have not checked is the one way valve which is fitted to the servo and pipework as i dont know how this comes off from the servo and don't want to do any damage.
It also seemed that people were saying MAF problem and it would be OK again if i changed the MAF, well i got a new MAF and no difference :|
Today i run my OBD2 reader ( just got it today ) and came up with the following fault code - P0102 which is MAF ( Mass or Volume air flow A circuit low input ) how can this be with a new MAF ?????
Could PRV ( PRESSURE REGULATING VALVE ) be masking the issue ???? any other places to look ???

Any input much appreciated as spending like no tomorrow on a car i have only had two weeks and now loosing faith in the car

Don't confuse symptoms with cause, a MAF error code doesn't mean the MAF is at fault, and as you've tried a replacement you can rule that out.

The issue is certainly to do with the vacuum in the brake system. Check the hoses again, starting with the hose that connects to the throttle body, and work along. Check the connections and also listen for any leaks. I would imagine the PRV is a very likely culprit if you can't see any other leaks in the system.
