Hi Guys

I have a 3.0si Coupe, I had the car detailed some months back and upon steam cleaning the roof lining , it had sagged over the drivers side , I simply stapled it and forgot about it, however I visited the breakers this weekend and they had a Z4MC with the anthracite hood long in good condition, I'm thinking to simply do a swap over instead of getting my current reupholstered.

I need your guys help on removing the roof lining, I have searched quite a bit and haven't had any joy.
I know how to remove the covers on the A and B pillars, as well as the cover over the security mount , I also see screws behind the visors but I don't see any clips or screws on the rear, has anyone else done this before?

Off topic but whereabouts is this breakers with a coupe
Cheers
Think replacing the headlining is a difficult one, not as easy as you think, might be wrong.
Sure someone will come along to help.

I'm guessing it's a bit of a trek from Sheffield....

Howdy. headliners are normally retained by:
  • The weather strips (so these need to be pulled away)
Any roof housing or mouldings - including the visors (so these need to be removed)
    Visible retention clips
    Non-visible retention clips
Remove all these and the headliner should fall into your lap.

Agreed but I just wanted a definitive answer or a link that explains exactly what needs to be removed , I'm on the lazy side, so only willing to attempt once I'm comfortable in knowing what I'm in for..
