HELP: Bimmian Tow Hook Plate Holder Fitment

I received the tow hook license plate holder from Bimmian today however when I went to install it the mounting screw was too short. I called Bimmian and they stated it was a universal fit for all BMWs.

There is no way I can install this with the longest mounting screw included without touching the bumper at all. Does anyone have any experience with this? I recently got a front aero bumper if that makes any difference.

I'm contemplating returning this or selling it and getting the RhoPlate but need to make sure the mounting screw is long enough to clear the bumper. Can anyone help me out and provide a measurement of the mounting screw?

pyo, welcome to the forum...
I know a few individuals that have used that type of mount for their front plate and I don't recall that they had a problem. Perhaps the the issue is the Aero bumper.

That's was my thought, not sure if there is difference in the profile at tat point.
