Hey all,

Just wanted to say hello, I've just recently become a new owner of an '04 3.0i SE Roadster, manual, in Sapphire Black with grey interior and red leather and 7800 miles on the clock.

Have been using the forum for a few weeks now for researching before purchasing and have found it to be of great help but only have registered now since having made the purchase and collection, so thanks!

Have only had the car for a couple of days but I'm very pleased with it so far, it came with the Bluetooth prep, multi-function steering wheel, electric folding exterior mirrors, extended storage (not sure exactly what that is considering that there appears to the be the same storage areas as a non-extended Z4!), graduated windscreen (whatever!), wind deflector, 106 style 'turbine' alloys and the Carver DSP stereo system. I've already christen it with my first mod, the stubby aerial!

Look forward to sharing information and reading the forums.

Hey,

Thanks for the nice welcome, yes Taz X, 7800 miles, I was surprised also and thought it was a typo initially! I was waiting for the mileage check to come back with an extra zero!

However in the couple of days I've had it, I've already added over another hundred miles! I believe the previous owner had two cars and also two kids, hence never really took it out much, however the leather seats seem to have faired less well than the rest of the car!

Welcome. Excellent purchase by the sounds of it. Looking forward to some pictures.

All sounds a bit suspect? Lots of stone chips? Tyres ok? Mileage is unbelievable but great if it's true!
Extra storage? That'll be the two mesh panels on the rear of your seats then? I have found the lack of storage the only bad point about the Z4. Otherwise fantastic car to own & drive. Welcome to the forum.

Hi and welcome do you give a dam about storage when you have a Zed. I dont, sad to hear you have a stubby :poke: :driving:

Welcome and enjoy! My zed had just 21k when I bought it from BMW, it was the previous owners weekend toy! I wouldnt worry about that mileage just enjoy it :driving:

Cheers guys,

Kernel-debugger, I know what you mean, too good to be true, usually means it's not! However I bought it from a BMW dealer and they have checked it out, apparently it was brought from them originally, there are a few stone chips but not a lot and the alloys are unmarked, the passenger seats are unmarked but the drivers seat has a few scratches on the bolster, guess thats the norm from getting in and out of the car. Dealer is going to get someone to have a look at it, if all else fails then I've already checked out the posting regarding liquidleather so may pursue that route.

T-J, I take it you aren't keen on the stubbys? Ha ha ha!

Mafoo, will post some photos into the gallery section in a moment.

Hi cyhliu. How did you guss that the problem with it, is its stubby
Any way enjoy your Zed :driving:
