Hello - Soon to be a Z4 owner. (now with pics!)

Hello everyone, thought I'd join the forum as I put down a deposit today on an Interlagos blue Z4m roadster. Been lurking on the forum for a couple of weeks now while trying to decide what car to replace my S2000 with, but once I test drove the Z4M my mind was made up!

Just got wait until next wednesday now to pick it up - guess it's going to feel like an age!! Will post some pics as soon as I get the car.

Quite a step up from the S2000.

Not the best time of year to buy a powerful open top but I know you will enjoy it.

I've gone from a 2.5 to 3.0. So in a few years I will probably be in a Z4M too.

Enjoy, and stop biting your nails waiting for it!

It is quite a step up from the S2000 both in terms of power and also the interior. I love my S2000 but am looking forward to having some proper power on hand lower down the rev range, rather than having to wait until 6000 revs before I get going!!

Wednesday seems weeks away at the moment!!!
 
Well I picked the car up late this afternoon and I'm still grinning!! Sadly it was dark by the time I got it back so pictures will have to wait until I have a chance to take some in the daylight. Got to drive it back down to Winchester from Birmingham tonight, but will be taking it easy in the cold weather!
 
Right, going to try and put some pictures up. Hope this works as I've never done this before, so fingers crossed!

Mmmm, can't beat the M Roadster in that blue colour with the original wheels... fantastic looking cars!

Had BMW M made an SMG would people have bought it... I was just pondering the other night after watching the old 5th Gear review when Plato pulls the gearstick top off :lol:

A Z4M with SMGIII from the M5/M6 would have been some car.

Very nice car BTW :thumbsup:
