Hello - New E86 owner (soon)

Hi all,
Just put down a deposit on a beautiful E86 Auto in Space Grey metallic with dream red msport trim.

Was really pleased with how it looked and drove.

I choose the E86 after the lovely dilemma of deciding between an E85 or E86.
I always loved the looks when they first appeared on the roads and still do today.
A car to cruise along and enjoy.
Perfect for me.

I’m a biker as well so have my fix of brisk fun when my mood takes it.

For me, the car was never about the speed or 0-60 sprints.

Collecting next Saturday.

Hi and welcome from a serial Coupe owner.

I always loved the looks of the Coupe too, and Space Grey is quite a rare colour that will look great with red leather.

I hope you are aware of the unwritten rule on here about posting photos!

Nice one! I have to say I didn’t mind the Z4 when it came out, but loved the Coupe. I got mine in 2011 with the intention of keeping it for 2-3 years. Still got it.

It looks great and does everything really well.

Get some cup holders if you don’t have them. Enjoy the car!

I'd happily put a picture on here if I knew how.
It's been many years since I was on a forum.

My wife is the default cupholder so I reckon I'll be ok for now.....appreciate the useful tip though.

Your car looks great, but then it is an E86.

Picked up the Coupe, yesterday.
Drove it home and was instantly at home and relaxed.
Took the wife out in the car a bit later and she liked the comfy seats although she said getting out was more of a task than her Aygo. Just takes a bit of practice I told her.

This is the colour that made me have a closer look to Z4 coupé as a Z3 coupé owner :wink:
And it has also m'y favorite alloy wheels, very nice combo
