Hello from France

Hello to everyone.

My name is Joseph and i live in France. I hope to be a Z4C owner by the end of this year.
So have joined up to learn all about them.

I come from the world of Fiat coupes(dont laugh) and currently own 3. They are all 20VT's.
A red lhd Sunday car on 100,000klm. A wine red 20vt track prepaired coupe running about 350hp.

And a silver 20vt in bits/project/parts car.

The Z4 will possibly replace my red Sunday car allthough it will be a wrench to sell it.

I still have not bagged a ride in a Z4 yet so i realise i have much to learn about them.

So i am now looking forward to read up on the subject.

Bonjour Joseph, welcome.

Nothing wrong with Fiats both my Daughters currently run them and my wife has previously.
Not specials like yours though, theirs are straight out of the box.

Good luck with your search, there is plenty of information and helpful people on here.

Another great Bangle design... from French Wikipedia ..

Bienvenue

Bienvenue, which part of France do you live in? Wish I'd had my Z4 when I lived in France - great roads & less traffic :driving:

Hi and welcome.

In the 8 months + you have set as your target for Zed ownership you should have done a lot of homework. :D

Good luck with the search and don't be shy to post pics!

Thanks for the nice welcome folks. I think i will enjoy a Z and a good forum makes the owning alot happier and smoother.

The sunday lhd coupe is has now been on french plates for a week. I fell upon the coupe on autotrader last year. It turns out that the english owner ordered in from a uk gararage, then took it to live in France.
He then registered there.

He moved back to the uk some years later and put it back on uk plates.

In the paperwork was the old french log book. Resulting in not having to pay for a COC when getting back on French plates. Which has instantly upped its value by about 30%!

Track coupe was a uk car i then registered in France.
Not legal on the road now due to Harness and cage fitting.
