Hi All,

just thought I'd say hello after missing out on a forum car and seeing some dubious examples on the bay and at local dealers I think I have found a nice one.

A 2008 2.5i SE one owner with 24k and seemingly mint condition.

Looks like it might have been worth the wait so hope I don't jinx it.

Great forum by the way I have found it a gold mine of knowledge.

Thanks for the welcoming messages, but it looks like I will have to keep my powder dry for a little longer.

£50 out of pocket on a train ticket but I guess its better than making a potentially expensive mistake.

Still live and learn !
 
Found another but....

This time a 2004 3.0 SE with a low 40K milage, with partial BMW the independent service history based on the miles, however its seems to have spent most of its time sat on a drive uncovered or doing short runs, it has lot of road rash on the front that would need painting, which seems at odds with the miles

I have yet to drive but it seems worth a closer inspection.

Although its been up for £6.5k, on a private sale I think this seems a bit expensive there seems to have been similar things with albeit higher milages around for less.

I am not sure I am confusing milage with condition here. So any advice would be appreciated.

Are you looking at cars with a limit to how far away they are from you? I only ask as this is 58 miles from me in Milton. If I was you id search nation wide and be prepared to travel for the right car. Don't limit yourself.
