Hello everybody, I got directed here from the last page of the "newbies read here" thread.

I thought I should join a group seeing as I have a car worth being in a club for! Unfortunately it will remain as-is until I have sold my current run around (ford focus diesel estate 2003)

I believe most if not all owners put a stubby aerial on first, think this will be mu first modification, then once the set of run flats currently fitted wear out ill do some fiddling with wheels, tyres and spacing :)

specs to follow once I get it out of the "garage"

*update: this is the car im currently driving/selling http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201407095684852/sort/default/usedcars/model/focus/body-type/estate/fuel-type/diesel/postcode/br12en/maximum-mileage/over_100000_miles/transmission/manual/maximum-age/over_10_years_old/onesearchad/used%2Cnearlynew%2Cnew/radius/1500/make/ford/page/3?logcode=p *

Thanks guys, I'm super excited to get it out, I've already done some tinkering this evening and managed to remove the aerial (it wasn't stuck on) but more importantly I've managed to remove the whole base unit (with the appropriate tools ;) ) so now i can try and find a suitable "shark fin" looking unit.

previously forgotten details - its a 3.0si sport coupe, '07 model with Ms Sport suspension, wheels and seats.

sorry about the lack of photos... baby is still in the garage under cover, had no luck selling the focus after 3 weeks :driving: :headbang:

finally! i have sold my previous car and have brought the coupe out to play!

It was my first ever drive in the car on the roads, in the rain, in traffic... bit slow to say the least, however i managed to get the dsc light to flash up a few times when pulling out of corners sharpish :driving:

this is the large focus I've been driving for the last 4/1/2 years, glad to see it got but its been a big part of my life.

And here we have the first full pic of the new coupe! (I'm calling her sporty blue, on account of all three cars have coincidentally been blue as well as 2 of my bycicles, named: little blue (rover mini cooper) big blue (focus) old blue (my dads old appollo bike) sporty blue and then mountain blue (my carerra mountain bike).

It'll come along, thing I must have spent 4 months of constant looking to find the right one for the right money :)
