Hello all!

I'm a Canadian Naval Engineer on exchange here in the UK, and I've always coveted driving a Z4, such magnificent machines!

My ride for a long time was a blue 2000 Hyundai Tiburon (I guess they call them Coupé here in UK), for me it was a fun manual transmission sporty little car, and I had mine for 16 years (8 Canadian provinces and 44 US States....it was a road trip warrior!) I loved that car, and did much of my own work on it - brakes, wheel bearings, etc.

It bit the dust in 2000 after 346k Km, and after several years driving a family-necessitating Mercedes ML350 in Canada, we're in the UK and I'm going to get a Z4 as my 2nd/personal car.

I'll probably be asking questions as I go through the search. My goal is a 2009-2011 23i or 30i (trying to get in with an N52 model), but while I look for the perfect one to buy within my budget, I'm also thinking of buying an older inexpensive Mid-2000s Z4 just to drive around until I find my long-term solution.

There’s a few owners near Bristol and hopefully they will be able to assist, or even view cars with you if needed.

If you can't find a suitable E89 you could always try a facelift E85 as the 6 cylinder ones also used the N52 engine, as did E86s.

Zedshed Cymru is an enthusiast group catering for Z3w and Z4's we help each other out with jobs on our cars as and when they need attention, the shed is my home garage with a car lift.
