Hi everyone.

I have joined the forum this afternoon as I will be purchasing a Z4 in the next few weeks.

I sold my elderly Impreza on Saturday afternoon, and think a 2.5 or 3.0 Z4 would be a great weekend/fun car.

We have 3.0i X5 that we use for daily commute/family trips so the Z4 would be a good addition to the family.

Looking forward to viewing a few cars and I think with a budget of £6,000 I could get an early example.

Any advice gratefully appreciated.

:)

Hi and welcome

Your budget should get you an early model and if I were you I would get the 3.0 litre as it is a superb engine with great performance.

Thanks Andy.

I agree with you on the 3 litre engine (had a 330Ci Convertible a couple of years ago (lovely car)).

Just started to peruse the for sale part of the forum/Autotrader/PistonHeads etc.

Some good cars out there :driving:

I love my 3.0si it just feels so special and with the top down the sound when you gun it is superb, I would also check out the cars for sale here on the forum as most people on here adore their cars so you would very likely get one that has been really well cared for.

Thanks for all the replies.

Great (friendly) forum.

I spent most of Monday evening reading up on the Z4, there appear to be more 2.5s for sale than 3.0s.
