im a newbie and dont actually have a Z4 yet although am hoping to buy one soon. I currently own a Smart Roadster, about the quickest car i could afford insurance wise when i got it. I am only 24!
I have been looking at some roadsters online and am now ready to start going for test drives... I was wondering if there is anything i should look out for. (On the smart roadsters you had to be very careful with checking for leaks (they are like buckets! water is easy to get in but hard to get out unless you tip it upside down!) and there are a few other common problems like broken AC pipes etc...
The car i would be looking at is ideally a 2.5i 2003-2004 around £10-11k which there seem to be plenty of and now summer is finishing i imagine will be loads more of.
Is this a good choice? any other feedback you can share?
A few other things i was wondering is that the 0-60 stats for the model i am looking at seem to change every site i look at some quote 7.4 secs, others say 6.8 secs....what is the 0-100 on this model?

if you can afford to spend a little more on running costs go for the 3.0
re other probs not sure about the 2.5 but make sure all is well and good as some parts are not cheap check for sticky steering as its very very expensive replacement.
