Hello all!! Plus car swap advice

New to the forum, first post! I am looking to buy a Z4 don’t own one yet but thought id sign up here. I have joined forums for my last 2 cars and found one to be really good (350z-uk.com) and my current one to be a bit slow but ok.
 
I love car forums, I think they are one of the most useful things online and a great community too!
 
So any top tips for Z4 shopping I need to be aware of? Any common faults etc?
 
To be honest I would really like to swap my car if anyone is interested, so much easier than selling? I have a 57 plate Astra VXR low miles with some pretty decent options on it! Its not a bad car but I miss my big engine convertible days from when I had my 350z, so if anyone has a 3.0 Z4 with less than 30k on the clock id swap with you tomorrow lol!
 
In all seriousness if anyone is interested in a trade I can provide more details, failing that the VXR is up for sale so hopefully get a buyer soon and then I can get my hands on a Z4!!!!!

Hi Neil and welcome.

I think it's unlikely anyone here will offer you a straight swap for a vxr

There's loads of information on these boards with regards to things to check before buying and common faults. Just use the search and you'll hit buyers guides etc.

Good luck with the sale, and hopefully we'll see some pics of your Z soon

You made a mistake of changing from 350Z to Astra VXR (Vauxhall).

Welcome to the Forum. Not sure there will be anyone on the Forum interested in a 'swap'. Why not try a trade with a BMW dealer - worth seeing what they will offer.

I've had a couple of VXRs over a weekend from Vauxhall fleet. I really like them. I think that they 'feel' faster than they are but don't get me wrong they are a very rapid car.
