Hell Rot Z4 Coupe

Hey all

Have been enjoying reading lots of posts on here and hoping to get myself a beautiful Coupe very soon. I had initially preferred the Silver Grey Body Colour and I also really like the Black Black (Saphire?) ie not the Black with the Blueish (Carbon?) or Ruby Hue. Whilst Hell Rot might be a bit bling it really looks quite nice from the photographs of this one currently on the market. It was previously sold January 2016 but I am unable to find any details about the price back then. Has anyone come across this car before or know how long it has been on the market etc.

Thanks!

Well you've got your Blacks sorted - Sapphire Black is indeed just Black, but Carbon Black can look Blueish and Ruby Black can look Purplish - on the few days of the year that the sun hits it right.

I really didn't want Black or any shade of Silver/Grey when I was first looking for one, but got impatient and talked myself into Ruby Black especially as it had the contrast of a Pearl Grey interior!

But when I was looking for my second one I decided to look for a colour, and found my Montego Blue one that also had Pearl Grey leather which really fitted the bill.

Had I seen a Hell Rot one though I would probably have gone for that, especially with Red seats - lovely.

But even allowing for the rarity of the colour, the one you have photos of is at least £1,000 over-priced IMHO.

Anyway, good luck with your search.

And what have you got against Blue? I might as well add a gratuitous photo seeing as this is z4forum.

Thank you Mr Tidy... Nothing against blue but I have a blue car already, albeit a 1933 Morris and I have a Pearl White 1966 Volvo 1800S so just want something different. I've just got my head around the Greys too.... Space Grey (Blue Hue in sunlight) Titanium Silver - like Arctic Silver very pale and a bit dated looking (I remember this being massively popular with Executive Company Cars) Silver Grey somewhere inbetween the two and then Stratus Grey which can looking anything from a muddy brownish grey to a bluey grey but more grey than Silver. Agree on the Hell Rot price being rather punchy. These 2 cars are going at similar asking prices...

Gustavo9 was selling his ///M Imola Red Coupe, he has now put it into storage whilst he worked overseas

price was around £15k, believe it was on about 110k but he had spent quite a lot in servicing & parts to keep it very sweet.

I can call him if you’re interested in it...

Update; apparently it’s still on Autotrader ‘until sold’ here on 127k https://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201911114230405?advertising-location=at_cars

Thank you Jembo. Stunning machine but I am after an Si rather than a Z4M.

NP ... always nice to have a choice.

I originally had a 3.0 many moons ago, couldn’t see what all the fuss was about... then I had a go in a ///M & was smitten.

So, while you are on the prowl, suggest you try them both. IMO the Si’s the sensible choice of the lad your dad would be happy you brought home, whereas the ///M’s the bad boy that’ll take you to heaven & back 5 times a night, driving your dad nuts.
