Height adjustment on seat

I wonder if anybody can advise me as to if the drivers seat height adjustment is cable controlled?
If I try to raise the seat I get no ratchet noises or movement so I need to repair this for my mrs. :thumbsup:
 
Arte you just pulling the lever and expecting movement?
I think you have to repeatedly pump it in the direction you want to go.

It should I think?
If not then yes you could have an issue, but I've personally never had a seat apart to find out how it works, sorry.
 
You have to push the seat down (quite hard)at the same time as the middle handle on the seat.

Pull at the same time to raise it

Presume you have manual MSport seats, in which case the lever on the front corner (under your right knee) is pushed/pulled repeatedly to raise/lower the front edge/angle of the base squab only. The lever operates a toothed metal quadrant/spring/bar mechanism underneath that can be seen in my photos (no cables). The center lever on the side raises/lowers the whole seat but you may need to 'assist' it a little by lifting or forcing your body weight up/down a little :thumbsup: 20211113_125218.jpg20211113_125231.jpg20211113_125237.jpg
