Heated seats retro-fit

Finally getting around to retro-fitting heated seats. Can't be as hard as pvr and my retro-fitting the SatNav. Just got the control unit. I have a spare ashtray unit for sale if anyone needs one :) Will post more details as I progress with the installation.
 
Nice one... post the asktray in the for sale section, I think someone as after one :D

I now have two halogen street lights which we can use for the usual midnight fitting excersises ... :wink:
 
Tested the new switch unit on my car. All the buttons seem to work. When I press the seat heater buttons the 3 LEDs flash on and off. Time to get the heating elements ordered.
 
There was a pictorial DIY on an E46 forum a while ago (pretty much the same seats)
If I come across it I'll link it up.
