Heated seats installed but not working, what have I done wrong?

Hi guys hoping you can help with this one!

Swapped the manual fabric seats to leather electric heated seats and replaced the centre console with the one with the heated seats buttons.

The electrics work to adjust the seat but when I press the heated seat buttons the lights next to the buttons just flash on then off instantly and there is no heat.

Any help would be appreciated, this is for a 2004 2.5i E85.

Is there a specific fuse for the heated seats

It sounds as though your pick path is working but you have no stick path.

sounds like you need to code the car for the heated seat option.

I just installed heated seats using the X3 loom and did not need to code the heating function. That's a 2006 car.

Just to check - did you follow the retro fit instructions? If not, I can send them to you so you can check it?

Some models require coding and also need the addition looms

Did added wiring that goes from seats to switches, because that what you need when fitting them. In some cases also need few wires from fuse box to the switches.
