Heated Seat TOO Hot

Even on the lowest setting (one bar) my heated seat gets way too hot. Within 5 minutes or so I have to shut it off. Anyone have an idea?

Take an ice pack in your pants?

um, mine dont get that hot on lowest setting... highest is only used my my better half :)
 
heated seats must be nice :)
I have cold seats only boohoo :cry:

My TT had the same problem after using the heated seats lots for a year or so... before I sold it even the lowest setting got too hot... I wonder if the element was burning through the seat??
 
I wonder as I cannot stand low heat for more than a few minutes and I'm burning. My wife however can 'take' level 3 for an entire journey. I think it's genetic, not a fault and some women have asbestos in their genes (or is that jeans?)
 
I have an ice butt, but 3 is way too warm for even me to take for very long. 1 and 2 are great though.
I want a heated steering wheel.

I'm thinking rosie just accidently forgot the "N"

*edit...can't believe I forgot to put thinking in there....something must of had me distracted :oops:

I think this was just another "Rosieism". She just had the N in the wrong place as she wouldn't say "an nice butt", she'd say "a nice butt". She might well have a nice butt, I know she works out quite a bit, but i think she's too much of a lady to brag here. And just for the record, she was sitting down the entire time that I was with her, so I can't tell you.

you know what I WAS sitting down the whole time I saw you Yal...you came late and left early.

I meant ice butt, but it sure is fun to see you guys work it out for me....why do guys always change my words around? Huh? Yah, I've finally got the OT down and am fully participatory.
