Heated seat fitting

Hello!

Have a 2003 2.5i with no heated seats out the factory.

If I found some heated seats to fit:

[*] Would they plug in fine?
[*] Would it have the wiring to work with the heated seats?
[*] If it needs wiring, what sort of cost would it be?

Not sure about that Rich, but you may be right.

Best to raise the seat and see if you have the spare connector within the composite connector on the loom from the floor. (Don't disconnect it and turn on the ignition to move the seat, else you'll activate an airbag warning light.)

In any event you'll need the replacement control panel with seat buttons too.
 
2003, as far as I've heard, will have everything you need already there. So my seats would work perfectly :oops:

I retrofitted mine (I had no heated) and being 2003, with the control panel it just worked perfectly, as said, it's easy to see if they'll work or not. There'll be a "hole" on the seat side of the connector for the plug, then, where that "hole" is on the car side of the loom there'll be pins.

If there's pins, there's wires. Simple.
