Everytime I touch my exterior mirror glass when out in the car they are hot. Are they meant to be continuously heated or am I missing something, is it external temp related? I do live in Scotland.
Ah well, that is rather stupid isn't it. Must draw a fair amount of current from the battery especially if you have the autolights on etc and are trying to start it.
It's not always on. It depends on the outside temperature and the rain sensor / use of the wipers. However, once it's been switched on it stays on for the rest of the trip.
