HEADS UP: SatNav display

Price looks about right, I've seen them more expensive

EDIT: seems to be quite expensive and lots cheaper from BMW Munich...

Bl**dy expensive considering srhutch and myself paid about 120 Euro for a brand new one from BMW Munich.

oh really? I've seen some on fleabay for 1.000 dollars a few months ago, and double-checked it was really the screen only...
Not always good deals apparantly...

It is not always there in their shop though to be fair. When we bough it, there were about 10 or so. For that price, we just wanted to have a spare "just in case".

According to Real-oem, this part comes in two colours: black and grey.

So I am wondering ... What colour is the standard Z4 coupe dash? Grey or black?
Did the dash come in both grey and black versions?

Grey is the very early cars only.

Not quite - grey is when the dashboard itself is grey, i.e. normally with cars with a grey roof as well. Earliest Z4s still have a black dash.

Very rare, hence that the grey satnav units are usually very cheap.

Not many grey roofs about, I only saw those on 2003 / 2004 models - never seen a later model with that but might be wrong.

That was my first thought, too! Like in the E60 5-Series.
