Evening, all! It is with great sorrow I will be departing the Z4 fold. Basically, I've got an itching for more power. So unless I find 5 grand in the next 6 weeks I won't be getting a Z4M ( 
), so I'm aiming at a VX220 Turbo.
I'll be doing a full for sale thread with an immense level of detail/pictures very soon, but this is just for anyone who likes to pick out the car they want early that my titanium silver 03 Z4 3.0i SE SMG will be for sale. Suffice to say, it must be one of the best kept 03s around - regulars on here will confirm that from meets, etc.
Quick details:
- 62k
- comprehensive BMW warranty with breakdown until Nov, fully transferrable / MOT also until Nov
- full BMWSH, all done on time
- faultless SMG gearbox
- new rear tyres (Falken 452s) about 5k miles ago. Last pair lasted for 16k and they were still a way above legal when changed
- nearly every option except sat nav. Standard 03 SE spec plus: Elec/mem/heated seats, grad. tinted windscreen, internal storage/nets, wind deflector, 10 speaker upgrade, xenons, parking sensors 1/2 others I've forgotten!
- tasteful, subtle upgrades. Original Z4M alloys, K&N air filter, soundbox mod, stubby, OEM mudflaps (easily removeable)
- entire folder of receipts, tax discs, service invoices, etc.
Common faults addressed: arms & bushes done last November, the whole seatbelt control unit replaced, springs done before I took ownership. The main common fault it's not had is the roof motor, and that's what the warranty is for!
Minor faults: a few minor stone chips (as expected, but less than you'd think as the previous owner had the front bumper resprayed in 06/07, IIRC), a couple of the wheels need a touch up/refurb.
Anyone wanting an early look/general chat is welcome to get in contact. Car mileage will go up by a bit as it's my main car. It's available to view at most reasonable times in either Doncaster (DN3) or Scunthorpe (DN17).
This won't be the cheapest 03 for sale when it goes up, but you can pretty much guarantee it'll be one of the best. I've seen 1/2 03s for sale at garages recently and you can tell they've been bashed about. This hasn't.
