Anyone know how to remove the headrest from a coupe passenger seat? I want to get a fully loaded snowboard bag in (without unpacking/repacking in the car park) but the headrest is in the way.....

If it's the seats with an adjustable headrest...

...then you push the little button/catch on the outside of the seat when you get to the top-most position, and pull up.

The manual states:

However, if it's the sports/M seats then the headrest doesn't adjust/remove.

Thanks.
mmm-five - my seats have the adjustable headrest. I think I just need to tip them forward to get clearance to pull them right out.
buzyg - It's just for the trip to Gatwick and back. I did think about taking the seat out and if it comes to it I will. I am mildly concerned about airbag errors when I plug it all back in again (presumably I could clear them with Carly tho?)

Sorry to dig this up again - I have tried the seat in all sorts of positions but I can find one that gives me sufficient clearance to get the headrest out. Can anyone contradict me?

Is this the only disadvantage of the coupe over the roadster?

My lips are sealed :P

If there really is no clearance then disconnect the battery, remove the seat, remove the headrest, fit seat back in car and reconnect battery.. Then you can avoid airbag errors?
Long winded approach lol

You'll have to unbolt the seats to get the head rest off, or maybe
seat low and forward, back rest far down and take it off over the bulkhead?
