You've got to work on that font size.... :)

OK from what I can interpret you're existing light is likely to be misting as the back cover has not been correctly seated and sealed. That's easy enough to fix.

Clear headlights, if from a 2006 will physically be the same size, but will NOT work without extensive other changes including a new or reprogrammed LCM module in you 54 reg. If you try to fit them your lights simply will not work.

Lugs can be repaired and if done correctly there is no reason why it would not fit as normal. More worrying is that the light is likely from an impact damaged car and the internals can be bust up. I've chopped a few like that up for bits

thanks a lot cj10jeeper, you are always the 1st and most kindly person to answer my question.
I am agree with you that back cover has not fully sealed. Because its very difficulty to open that misting back cover, the other side one is easy to open. I have dried inside of unit fow two time, it still gets moisture.
besides, you mean, if I am going to reprogram that I can use clear one? Or only DIY a clear one for a 54reg Z?

The only direct slot in (DIY) light is a like for like (halogen or xenon) and from a pre facelift model. In 2005 there were clear indicator lights launched to freshen the car before the facelift.

If I understand that correctly, then the clear indicator lights from a 2005 prefacelit car will go into an 2004 without any electrical mods?

Think so, but I guess those prefacelift clear indicator lights are as rare as rocking horse poo :(

Yes Richard. The 2005 clear indicator unit is a direct swap. Straight plug and play so long as you stick with like for like halogen or xenon.

Of course they are as rare as the proverbial hens teeth.

Best to build your own, as I priced them before for someone and halogen are about £350 and xenon £750 plus if a conversion to xenon ballast, bulb, bulb connector, etc. and LCM programme
