So my new Zed had aftermarket headlights fitted by the previous owner, but they're cheap and nasty ones that don't have the levelling stepped motors, which means that the stepper motor connectors from the light control module are simply left dangling. This also means that the car shows a constant light fault indicator on the dash because it can't detect the stepper motor.
I tried some coding options in NCSExpert but wasn't able to turn off the stepper motor sensing.
I figure the simplest solution will be to fit some resistors in place of the stepper motor coils, but to do so I need to know what values to use. Would anybody happen to know or be able to measure for me the resistance of the light levelling stepped motor coils?
Thanks in advance!
