headlight on with key fob

Does any1 know if u can turn the headlights on when u unlock the car with the remote central locking?
 
It certainly does'nt say anything in the hadbook about this function, i would'nt have thought having the headlights on before starting the car would be a good idea anyway, you can have the key programmed to do certain functions by a dealer but not sure if this is one of them.
 
When the headlights are in auto and it's dark enough they turn on before starting, so there's no issue there. I've not heard of a Zed with this function though so I'd be dubious. I guess the only way to find out would be to plug into a config computer and see if the option is there...
 
Was just looking through the manual and I'm sure I seen in there about the light turning on witht the remote. Just my mates fancy R32 does that and was thinking this was the same function.
 
Never heard of such functionality oem, coding or aftermarket module.

My Jag turns in the light if set to auto as soon as you press 'start. Always bugs me that it does this at the moment the battery is at its lowest and most current draw :thumbsdown:
