I know this is an old thread but I wanted to show my 5 minute effort with Autosol.
It's not great, but was literally 5 minutes in between rain showers.

I hope it's okay to revive this old thread, but I know when I stumbled on it I was wondering if the kit still existed and if I could get a similar result to OP - and I'm happy to say that thanks to the fantastic writeup here, my headlights are now nice and shiny once again
