Headlight height

The aiming on my low beam headlights seems to be very low - and I cannot find any way to adjust it. I have even RTFM.
I am sure this hasn't always been the case - its like it changed since I last washed it!

Can anyone give me any clues?

I've got a 13 plate 35is.

Ta!

You can adjust the height. Look behind lamp there's a white nylon looking object with a hex hole. Screw that and the dip position can be reset.
But you need to find out why it's changed.
Do they still move up and down at switch on?

I raised the same concerns the other month http://www.z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=77222 im glad its not just me, im just having issues finding an Allen key of the right size

I just used a long flat blade screw driver whose blade width just fitted between the corners of the hexagon.
Turn quite easily.

Mine are occasionally pointing straight down. Really annoying... It's almost as if they do it when the headlights and windscreen are dirty and I told myself that cleaning the windscreen where the washer sensor is sorts it but I am not sure if there are actually any sensors to do with the light level on the headlights or windscreen... Is it just the sensors in the suspension or are there others?
