headlight fogging

so appart from the seal around the back inspection hatch being duff what else could cause my headlights to fog upp?

i read about using some silica in them but i dont think this is the best cure. it was quite bad when it rained heavy last week but up till then it has been ok. i have had those covers open tho when i switched the lights for germany they were well sealed down and took a pull to get off so maybe they havnt seated down properly

where would i get a replecement seal?

I just got a replacement set from Jamie at Sopers. I think they cost about £22.50 delivered so worth buying before you start pulling the front end apart to look for other issues.

When I refitted my lights I was sure that the covers would go back on fine as they had been water tight before. Comparing the seals on the old ones to the new ones I'm pretty sure that was the problem although with the car currently off the road it's hard to do a proper test.
