I dunno if anyone here is interested, but spotted these headlight items on ebay, may be of use to someone. Can't tell if they're actually Xenons from the pics (the description reckons so...), but could be interesting.

Anyway, hope it helps someone, apologies if this is in the wrong place/not relevant/stupidly overpriced!

You can tell they are both Xenon from the ballast connector on the underside of each of them. That's the good news.

Downside is US lights have a different beam pattern and cannot produce the UK required assymetric beam lifted to the left.

There are also no converters inside to change left/right as US cars are never expected to be confronted with that situation

If you purchased them you'd need to as a minimum put the UK xenon assembly onto the back of the projector lens and posibly change the internal harness to a UK one. Easy if you already have UK xenons :)

Secondly - although difficult to tell for sure but as facelift then they are likely missing the UK flash to pass halogen in the inner lens. From those I've chopped up they have a blanking disk and simpel Angel eye structure in them.
 
I have UK xenons, but I'm in no rush to chop them up ;)

Against Titanium Silver, I don't mind my standard amber indicators on the headlights, all clear might be a bit too washed out. Might look good with the black backing and the white indicators, but on a pre-facelift I'm not sure I could pull it off without other front end mods. Might look good on chris' silver 3.0 with the Z4M bumper, instead of the tinted lights...
