headlamp washer pipes.

Ok so i've had a leaky washer bottle for a while. Checked the pump which sends water to the headlamp washers and a bit was broke off that.

Replaced that but it seems to pipe going from the pump to the headlamp washers is naff.

What is it supposed to look like? Mine is all black thick piping behind the bumper and just as it comes up to go into the washer pump attached to the washer bottle, it changes to a thin clear pipe for about a foot.

Is this incorrect? The pipe slots into the nozzle on the washer pump, rather than over it.

If anyone has any pictures, it'd be a great help, thanks.

the Headlamp washers should have a thick black pipe from the pump to the washers. The top picture looks correct. Complete pipework from BMW is about £20 as I bought it last year.

The second picture looks more like the pipe to the windscreen.
