Head unit connections

Hoping someone here is experienced with this :tumbleweed: The aux input on my headunit wasn't working, so I had a few spare minutes to spend inspecting the connections. I pulled out the headunit and followed the cable from the aux port to a large black 'junction' where a lot of cables were plugged in, and they then went directly to the headunit itself. There were two smaller connections, one was the aux cable, the other I don't know where it came from - but it was red & white cables; 3 or 4 I think. Problem is, neither of these two (aux, strange red & white) were then relayed to the headunit. The cables were missing!

Now I can badger the dealer to fix the missing aux cable. However, what does the red & white cable link to? Could it possibly be pre-wired for the CD stacker (not fitted)? If so, would it be an easy job to just get the stacker and hook it up given that the difficult routing is already done?

All UK z4 are cd pre wired but its quite a job fitting a changer as half the interior needs to come out.

Presume no aux listed when you press the source button

Ah that's a shame :( Don't want it anywhere near enough to be pulling apart the interior.

Aux is listed, but it's totally silent.
