Head Light Washer Jet

Ok so my head light washer jet was stuck up and would go down, managed to push it back down but now it seems its not working, whats the best way to get this fixed?? is it exspensive?
 
Depends why it stuck up and how much damage created by that and forcing it back.
I suspect ice damage or still frozen
Does the other one spray correctly?

Bumper off, unit out to check it and either replace it or service it.
 
well when i had a look at it it was wobbling??? and it wouldnt move?? so just left it as i didnt want to force it, drove to somewhere else and it was still stuck up but when pushed gently it clicked down?? other side works fine
 
I had this problem last week, with both washers stuck up in cold temperatures

I tried to push them down but they were stuck fast

So I heated some water in a kettle (not boiling) then poured it into the water reservoir, left it for 10 mins then tried the washers again - they worked and popped back into place

- I then emptied the reservoir and filled it with washer fluid

Hopefully this will work for you, if not as cj says you may have forced the jet down too hard

well the first time i tried to push it down it just wouldnt budge! the second time it went down more freely?
 
If your sure that all ice has melted within the pipes and the other side works fine, then it looks like it maybe broken

yeah thats what im thinking? whats a repair bill for something like this??
 
Best to dig out the part number from realoem and contact Jamie at sopers

The link I posted suggests £75 for the washer
 
Its best to use pretty concentrated winter washer, and fill it a few weeks before winter kicks off so it can work its way throughout the system :)
 
Just a quick update, took it to the garage today, was checked and found that they use the pressure from the water to go up and down, turned out that the pipe was blocked, cleaned the pipe out and it now works fine ;-)
