It's the greatest car ever!!! Takes me 10 minutes to walk into my house as I keep turning round to look at "her" again. Definitely a she....My 2008 Alfa Spider is being taken away tomorrow.....will be missed, but cant wait for this weekend to go for a mad blast...

2 Q's ....i seem to be averaging only 15mpg at the moment (granted i have only driven 40 town miles)... i was hoping for at least 20plus... should this improve??
also, does the "sport setting" change the sound of the exhaust at all. Love a throaty roar through a good tunnel !

I also have 23i M Sport, and average mpg is 31 (average speed is 31 mph).

Sport model improves throttle response and reduce power steering assistance. It improves the responsiveness of the engine.
 
Welcome! The exhaust note gets better as the mileage increases. i think Sport mode can be a bit jumpy especially around town. Great fun though. :D

From purely town driving I'm averaging about 28 mpg.
