Has anyone installed this on your car and if so how is it working?

Its not 100% clear what its supposed to do but if its to allow your car to run on E85 fuel you may not get much of a response as we don't have that fuel over here (this is mostly a UK forum although there are a few US members.).

Oh ok thanks. I thought E85 was a world product.
 
We get E5 (5% ethanol) and E10 (10% ethanol). All BMW's will fun fine on E10 with no mods. E85 is 85% ethanol and 15% gasoline. We don't have that, although i think we may have done years ago.

I was just interested due to the increase in horsepower and lower price E85 is known for.

Interesting read. Basically its no use outside of hot climates as cars struggle to start on it in colder climates, gives worse fuel economy, but better torque (rather than horsepower). Its lower in price in the US because the US government subsidies it. Sounds like it is very much a location specific thing, not much use in variable climates, and would be expensive if not subsidised which is probably why we havent seen it much in the rest of the world.
